Imagine all the shopping in the world, all in one night! Four hundred shops in Harajuku and Omotesando participated in the 4th edition of Vogue’s Fashion’s Night Out. The opening ceremony was held in Omotesando Hills with famous Japanese A-lists such as Chris Peppler, super-model Ai Tominaga and respected photographer Leslie Kee. After the ceremony was over, the mad shopping began while many shops altered their unique style to appeal to all those fashion-maniacs who were shopping and enjoying the night.
The term “catwalk” was taken very seriously in Junko Koshino’s fashion show that was held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Roppongi. The models literally walked out dressed and acted as cats. Junko Koshino, the designer herself explains the notion behind this very creative catwalk show The show was divided to two parts- the first was all about basic and high-quality cashmere looks while the other one was more edgy and “strange” according to the designer.
The Bvlgari Brilliant Dreams Awards 2012 took place in Japan where the new men collection for Bvlgari Octo was released. Actress, Ryoko Yonekura was the winner of the award. In addition, actor Yukiyoshi Ozawa was selected to a Special Award. He gives us his insights about the watch, “It has a profound feeling and you can tell it’s real when you are wearing it,” he says. The Octo collection was later unveiled with explosive balls revealing the collection. The watches can be worn day and night, no matter what situation you are in. The name of the collection, “Octo” is derived from the word “Octagon” and this is expressed as the face of the watch is shaped in an octagon inside a circle which symbolizes good fortune.
