Marc Jacobs Fall 2019 Runway Highlights by designer Marc Jacobs. Because we love Marc Jacobs heavenly Fall 2019 collection so much. Each look was unique with that certain fallen angel mystique, but still an angel. Perhaps the most loved: Christy Turlington Burns, who last walked the runway in the Nineties closed the show in a couture gown of black feathers and petals.

Rosario Dawson, who co-founded Studio 189, a brand headquartered in Ghana that produces African and African-inspired clothing, wants to celebrate fashion made in Africa.  “It’s important to be able to say ‘got and made in Africa,’” the 39-year-old actress and activist explained during “The Talks: Fashion as an Agent of Social Change,” a panel discussion held during New York Fashion Week at Spring Studios on Saturday.  Joined by her co-founder Abrima Erwiah at the talk moderated by WME CMO Bozoma Saint John, Dawson added, “When you look at something made in Italy, you don’t even recognize the brand, but you automatically appreciate the value, and that’s been given to you by years and years of storytelling that has existed long since before we got here.”  The “Sin City” star wants to change that conversation.  “When you see something made in Africa, you think charity. You think craft. And that doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. But somehow that’s the story,” she said. “We’re reclaiming that story.”  Dawson explained that buying clothing that aligns with your values is an important step for social change.  “Knowing that you’re voting with your dollar that actually stands in commitment to your integrity and the things that you value, having the opportunity and access to do it … that was something that we wanted to expand.”  Studio 189 was founded in 2013 after Dawson and Erwiah took a trip to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. “Romance isn’t dead,” declares British-bred designer Patrick Church.  For his Fall/Winter 2019 unisex collection titled “Dearly Beloved” — which was unveiled on Saturday night in Chelsea — he paired off his models to symbolize couples in modern relationships.  One show-stopping duo even served up ceremonial couture looks — complete with a dramatic veil and bouquet — ready for nuptial bliss.  “The centerpiece of the presentation were two boy brides in hand-painted wedding dresses,” Church tells The Post.  The multimedia artist-slash-designer got married just months after meeting his partner, which inspired the theme, along with the concept that he describes as “feminine strength.”  “Finding love has been one of the most fulfilling journeys of my life and promoting connection and hope is important to me.”  Other daring duds — which were meant to portray sensuality and intimacy — included risqué tiger-print separates, printed one-pieces, and even a dramatic faux fur coat emblazoned with the word “sex” worn by model-activist Munroe Bergdorf.  This isn’t the first time Church, who is known for championing diversity and inclusivity through his work, pushed the envelope during his presentations.  Last season, his genderless creations were featured on a roster of seniors over 70.  “I think people make a mistake by trying to attach clothing to any ideal,” says Church.  “The beauty of clothing is that it can be transformative, and I like to see people transform my work into something uniquely their own.”  Creative Direction by David Motta, hair by Will Schaedler with Living Proof, and makeup by Meghan Nguy. Kim and Kourtney Kardashian turned up the heat as they arrived at the AmfAR Gala in daring black dresses.

The fashion take-home from the night appeared to be ‘skin is in’ as supermodel Heidi Klum also took the plunge in a low-cut sequin gown with a flapper-esque skirt.

Not to be outdone, Victoria’s Secret legend Candice Swanepoel dazzled in a black and white gown with a deep thigh-high slit.

The back of her dramatic dress featured a massive white bow.

Models, celebrities and socialites pulled out all the fashion stops for the star-studded AmfAR gala, which is considered the unofficial start of New York Fashion Week.

The elegant event welcomed the best of the celebrity world and New York high society to mingle over drinks, dinner and entertainment at Cipriani’s…
